When naming this burger, we took a family vote. It had to be something punny, being that we’re all huge Bob’s Burgers fans (yes, even my four-year-old loves it because she loves Louise, which is probably a problem…) but I was the only one coming up with any puns so we only had two options. “The Jive Turkey Burger” and “The Tur-Keyed Up Burger”.
Tur-Keyed Up won by a landslide, whether my kids understood it or not.
Very British Problems, Season Two Episode One: “Very British Problems at Christmas”
This one is on Netflix, and if you haven’t discovered Very British Problems yet, you need to–especially if you’re an introvert and/or socially awkward (two terms that apparently define the British identity, according to the show). Did you see that Bob’s Burgers where Teddy and the stationery shop owner made an inspirational poster? She had a million pictures on her phone that she’d been taking, just waiting for the right quote. Then Teddy came along with “Today is Yesterday’s Tomorrow.”
Last month, my husband and I celebrated our tenth wedding anniversary. Tenth! I’ve now officially been married longer than I’ve done just about anything else. Longer than I’ve lived in one place, longer than I’ve attended any school. Wow.
